We finally have a Will!

Like many couples with young children, we knew we needed a Will and to have all our finances in order but could never find the time. Our financial planner recommended David and we could not have been more pleased with the care and attention David provided. He understood that with small children our schedules are hectic and that we needed a bit of hand-holding to get things done in a timely manner. After an initial phone call - on a Saturday morning! - he prepared a draft of our Will and other helpful documents, like Power of Attorney forms, and then sent them back to us within a couple of weeks. He helped us to think through sensitive issues, like guardianship for our children, and provided insight based on his experience working with other clients. We felt like he listened to us and then created a document that reflected our concerns. The whole process last about a month, mostly due to our schedules, but everything seemed efficient and easy. We would recommend David to anyone looking to (finally) prepare a Will and get all of their documents in order. Thanks to David, a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders.

David helped teach us about wills, trusts and power of attorney

As first time parents, we were a bit unsure how and where to navigate finding a lawyer in order to establish a will, trust, and power of attorney for our daughter. We looked at a few lawyers who were not very attentive and wanted to charge outrageous. David was recommended to us by our financial advisor / wealth manager and we were very pleased to work with him. He guided us through the documents with ease, answered all our questions in terms we could understand, and made the entire process so much easier that we could have expected. Would definitely recommend him if you are starting a family and need to establish proper guidance!

he delivered with timeliness and skill

I met David when he was a Financial Advisor.  The amazing thing to me is that it was the dead of winter and right off the bat he said he would come to my house to talk about my finances.  That was unusual.  And he was also very knowledgeable about finances and considerate of my situation.  There were no high pressure tactics, just a great discussion on where I was financially, and where I wanted to be and how he could get me there.  So, when I was looking for someone to help with a Will, knowing he was a lawyer - I sought his advice again.  And he delivered with timeliness and skill.  He a straight-shooter, won't give you a song and dance, and knows what he's talking about.
